Ladies and Gentleman - Start Your Engines  

Can you all please rise for the signing of our National Anthem? It's been a few weeks in the makings but after many exciting sleepless nights, my little brother has taken our families racing career to the highest possible measures that I couldn't even imagine. I sort of had to keep the information under wraps until a very-very thorough evaluation, many meetings, many talks, just lots of manys here, could be worked out.  

Not only being the owner/operator of Mac Brothers Racing Inc, to where Jason managed a four car operation, over a 28 week racing schedule, he now is going to manage and bring back to life, a 1/4 mile, asphalt speedway, located in Catskills, NY, the home of Wood Stock. With the help of the former director/promoter from our local speedway, Jason and now, a very close friend to the family, Billy Bartley and many members of our families, are going to adventure into the true business world. And you all laugh when I say Jason's "warehouse" salary out does mine!!!!!!! Don't see me buying a race track, now do you???  

This past Sunday, we made a trip to the track for a very long, intense meeting. Since Jason does not want to be buried six feet under if things do not work out, he struck a fabulous deal to lease the track for one year. This way, he'll only be buried three feet under if things go south. If that one year seems to have potential of many more years to come, a longer lease will be signed.  

I have enclosed a few pictures of the track. The name of the track will be Bethel Motor Sports Park. Since the town itself does not have many perks or landmarks, it just made since to include the town's name into the track name. Basically it is saying to the locals, even though we are outsiders, this is your track, in your hometown. This went over very well with the counsel men and woman that over see everything and anything that goes on within this community. We have now taken up the art of "sucking up"!!!  

I guess if you can't beat the competition, just buy a dam track, race it and D-Q anyone that finishes in front of you!!!!! Tee-Hee!!!   Wish us luck and if you have any advice for Jason, email him at jason@macbrothersracing.com.
